1.1. By registering an account on the GoldMU.pl server, you declare that you have read the game regulations and accept all of its provisions.
1.2. The GoldMU server does not have a predefined duration of an "Edition". An Edition is defined as the moment the game starts, and its end is announced 7 days prior to the decision to terminate it.
1.2.1. The Administration may temporarily disable the server (failures/technical maintenance/security). Whenever possible, interruptions will be announced in advance.
1.2.2. All characters on accounts as well as all items or virtual currencies accumulated on them (GoldPoints, WCoins, Zen) are deleted upon the end of an edition.
1.3. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, e.g. a server room fire or other unexpected failures beyond our control, the GoldMU server may end an edition at any time.
1.4. The Administration may change the game configuration to maintain balance, stability, and security. Significant changes (affecting the economy/rules) will be communicated.
1.5. The server is provided free of charge. The Administrator may offer optional paid services, features, or add-ons that are not required for basic access to or use of the server.
1.6. The Administration may change the Regulations for important reasons (e.g. security, technical changes, prevention of abuse). Changes are published on the website, and significant changes are communicated to players and take effect from the specified date.
1.7. The server Administrators are: DecardCain and Pecan.
1.8. GameChat Moderators are players responsible for maintaining order on the “post” channel. In the event of rule violations or inappropriate behavior, they may apply a temporary block on sending messages via post.
1.9. Anything that may cause damage to the server will result in an appropriate penalty (in-game and possibly also on the Forum or Discord), determined by the Administration. Example situations include:
1.9.a) defamation of the Administration or spreading rumors about allegedly incorrect server configuration,
1.9.b) advertising MMORPG services or game servers on public in-game chat or via the /post command,
1.9.c) using additional software that supports gameplay (cheats, hacks), excluding so-called "macros",
1.9.d) exploiting vulnerabilities on the website or in the game launcher for personal gain,
1.9.e) carrying out network attacks: DDoS, packet attacks, SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF/XSRF, etc.
1.10. There is an absolute BAN on reselling/buying accounts/characters/items/virtual currency for real money such as PLN, EUR, USD, etc.
1.11. Any attempts at trading for real money, i.e. RMT (Real Money Trading), are prohibited, including in particular: offering, seeking, advertising, negotiating, brokering, or any behavior or statements suggesting an intent to sell/buy accounts/characters/items/virtual currency for money (e.g. PLN, EUR, USD), regardless of whether the transaction is completed. Any such action will be treated as a violation of point 1.10 and will result in the same penalty (ban). This provision also applies to any arrangements made outside of gameplay, in particular through external communication channels such as Discord, internet forums, or other communication platforms.
1.12. Accounts are the property of the GoldMU.pl server.
1.13. Character names and Guild names may not contain words referring to Nazism, Fascism, or Racism. They may also not resemble the names of Administrators or Game Masters, nor contain names similar in meaning to ADMIN.
1.14. In the event of item loss due to a server/software error, the Administration may attempt to restore them based on logs. Recovery is not guaranteed in every case (e.g. lack of data in logs).
1.15. The Administration may terminate server operations (close the project) and declare the current or a future edition as the last (final) one. Information about a planned shutdown will be communicated to players as far in advance as possible (if technical or security considerations allow). Purchasing VIP or shop services does not constitute a guarantee of uninterrupted server operation.
2.1. Chat rules
2.1.1. Insults are not forbidden on the server and profanity is allowed. However, if someone repeatedly behaves inappropriately on chat, swears, and insults other players without reason, they will be subject to penalties imposed by a GameChat Moderator. If someone insults a player’s family or wishes death upon the player or their family, such behavior will not be tolerated. The penalty for such an offense is a 24-hour block of the character/account; the next offense of this type results in a 3-day block, and the final one in a permanent block of the character/account.
2.1.2. The duration of penalties imposed by a GameChat Moderator is not subject to complaints; however, if a GameChat Moderator acts unfairly or imposes a penalty without justification, it should be reported to the complaints section on the forum.
2.1.3. Players are obliged to show due respect to the GameChat Moderator while playing on the GoldMU server. In the event of harassment, insults, or name-calling directed at a GameChat Moderator for performing their duties and enforcing penalties, the player may be warned; if the situation repeats, the Administration may impose a 24-hour account ban.
2.1.4. A GameChat Moderator is obliged to show due respect to players, as they represent the GoldMU server and are expected to maintain proper conduct.
2.1.5. Advertising other Mu Online servers is strictly prohibited under threat of a 24-hour account ban.
2.1.6. The maximum mute duration is 12 hours (720 minutes), depending on the offense. If a player continues uncivil behavior toward other players after receiving a mute of up to 2 hours (120 minutes), the penalty may be increased up to 12 hours (720 minutes).
2.1.7. Disputes within a Guild are resolved by the Guild Master.
2.2. The Administration is not responsible for damages resulting from sharing your account password with third parties. Account or item theft is a risk associated with sharing your password.
2.3. AFK is allowed.
2.4. PK and KS on spots, as well as during invasions and events, are allowed. Spots are divided into "SAFE" ones marked with a green arrow (weaker ones have a guard that kills PK players) and red ones where free combat is allowed.
2.4.1. PK is prohibited during events organized by the Administration, unless explicitly permitted by the Administration.
2.5. The Administration is not a Mu encyclopedia.
2.5.1. Do not ask us about basic matters; instead, use -> google.com
2.5.2. Do not ask us about the game configuration; it is described in the server publication (the link can be found at the very bottom of the page under the name INFORMATION).
2.5.3. All information needed to get familiar with the game can be found on the centermu.pl Forum in the Server Guide section.
2.6. The use of hacks is prohibited. Hack = account removal without any warning and a BAN on HWID and IP addresses that logged into the account.
2.7. Upon noticing a bug that may affect gameplay, you are obliged to report it to the Administration. Sooner or later we will discover it ourselves, and exploiting such bugs = account removal.
2.8. In the case of cheating during events organized by the Administration, a player may be punished by having a certain number of earned resets deducted. The amount depends on the offense and is determined by the Administrator.
2.9. Failure of a Guild Master who registered their guild for Castle Siege to appear, or lack of active participation in the castle battle, will be punished with a 1-day account ban for the Guild Master.
2.10. A guild registered for Castle Siege may be removed from the event by the server Administrators if the number of members is fewer than ten players or if the total number of resets of all guild members is less than 1000. This rule may not apply during the first few events and remains flexible at the discretion of the Administrators due to changing server conditions (number of players, number of guilds, level of interest in the event).
2.11. During the Castle Siege event, any cooperation between guilds that do not belong to the same alliance is strictly prohibited. Any proven case of such cooperation (e.g. joint defense or attack, coordinated tactics) will be punished with an account ban of a duration determined by the Administration.
